We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sage Financial System Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Sage financial systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Sage software, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the financial system meets the organization’s needs.

Core Responsibilities
• System Management – Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Sage financial systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
• User Support – Provide support and training to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal usage of the system.
• Data Management – Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the Sage system, including regular data audits and clean-ups.
• Process Improvement – Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to streamline operations and improve financial reporting.
• Integration – Manage the integration of Sage with other business systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
• Reporting – Develop and generate custom reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Compliance – Ensure the financial system adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Documentation – Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills, Experience, And Competencies
• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience – Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Sage financial systems.
• Technical Skills – Proficiency in Sage software (e.g., Sage Intacct) and strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Analytical Skills – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Team Player – Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various departments.
• Certifications – Relevant certifications (e.g., Sage Certified Consultant) are a plus.

Preferred Skills & Experience
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Knowledge of SQL and other database management tools.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and business intelligence tools.

Working Conditions
• This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or troubleshoot critical issues.
• Remote work environment to allow flexibility to complete project.
