Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Financial Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with clients on outstanding payments.
Prepare and send customer statements and reminders as needed.
Payroll Processing:
Assist in processing payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets as required.
Generate financial analysis and reports to support decision-making processes.
Compile and submit regulatory filings and compliance reports as needed.
Audit and Compliance:
Assist in preparing for audits and provide support during audit procedures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Implement best practices for financial management and accounting processes.
General Administrative Tasks:
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Provide support to other departments as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
